Chapter One

In the story I wrote I made it through eight chapters.... and here is the first chapter:

Demons and gods made their difference when they staked their claim on the earth. Demons were on earth, and gods werenin the stars. The demons had a council of leaders, that consisted of twelve. One of those was the demon king himself.

He begins to impose on the council a new idea. One that the humans they helped, weren't perfect and worth it. And this is hoe the world fell apart.

"why do we Fight for them?" he called forth to the council. "we are their lords. We are higher beings! And yet, we we sounding all our time helping them. They are lower than us! They should serve US, not the other way around! They are little better than cattle, they should be our slaves." His fist banged against the council table, and the walls of the cavern the council was in shook.

"Shhhh," Carron whispered calmly. "You know that is not true. Take a seat."

"I will not!" He roared. "And if you will not stand by me then I stand with my followers, and I will MAKE you stand by me!"

"Sir," Fayare called out to the court, voice clear as a bell. "It isn't like that, and we are here to aid them. You forget this?"

"They are lower beings!"

"It is their time," she responded coldly. "Accept that, or you can no longer partake in this council."

"YOU accept that they are lower beings, I am your king!" he bellowed.

"As the council we overrule your word. Now sit," she said icily.

"Admit they are lower beings!" he persisted.

Fayare places her head in her hands. She was growing tired of this argument, being as it had lasted hundreds of years.

"SILENCE!" she yelled. "As a council we view you to be a threat to the human race and being as it is our duty to protect them, you are no longer part of this council. You are exiled. We have the documents... they are final. Begone with you."

Fury masked all of the Demon King's face. But he could not stay, and so he turned and with a whoosh of his cloak, vanished from the cavern.
